Who operates CoachSim

CoachSim is operated by Mike Band. Use our support form for privacy questions, access requests, corrections or deletion requests.

What we collect

• Your practice: choices, results, course progress, drive definitions, timestamps and saved game state.
• Account and session identifiers: a provider account identifier when you sign in, and essential cookies that connect your browser to your progress. When Google sign-in is available, we verify the account and verified-email status; we store the Google account identifier, not your Google password, email address, profile photo or access tokens. Existing ChatGPT accounts use the identity supplied by the hosting platform.
• Support requests: your message, category, optional reply email, submission time and current CoachSim account identifier when available. A reply email is required for account and privacy requests.
• Technical information: the hosting service processes network and request information, including IP addresses. CoachSim uses hashed network identifiers for abuse limits and logs request IDs, route names, status codes and timing. Application logs do not include your game choices, support message or sign-in tokens.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential secure cookies maintain guest access and signed-in sessions. Guest access expires after seven days; Google sessions last up to 30 days. Expiration ends access through that cookie—it does not automatically delete stored game records. Browser storage remembers recent attempts, preferences and onboarding choices. Clearing it may remove your connection to guest progress.

CoachSim does not use advertising cookies or an advertising analytics SDK.

How information is used and shared

We use this information to run CoachSim, associate records with your account, provide feedback, prevent abuse and handle support. The app does not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Our service providers process information to deliver the app: ChatGPT Sites and its Cloudflare hosting and database infrastructure; Google if you choose Google sign-in; and ChatGPT if you use the existing account sign-in option. Fonts may load from Google Fonts, which receives the network request. These providers also have their own privacy terms.

Shared drive links publish the starting situation. They do not publish your private play history, account identifier or random seed. Anyone with the link can view and play that starting situation. Following external research links takes you to another site.

Retention and your choices

Saved practice remains until removed in response to a verified deletion request or an operational cleanup. There is currently no automatic age-based deletion of game or support records. Expired sign-in sessions and temporary authorization requests are cleaned up separately.

You can play as a guest, stop using the app, clear browser storage, or sign out. To request a copy, correction or deletion of your stored information, contact CoachSim. We may need to verify control of the relevant account before disclosing or deleting records. Include a reply email, but never send your password or sign-in code.

Public copies of a shared situation may remain with people who copied it. Hosting providers maintain their own security logs and retention practices.
